Sunday 10th NOVEMBER – BREAKFAST CLUB, WARRAGUL CBD

Considering the cold wet weather we had experienced for the early part of November we were fortunate to have fine sunny conditions for the Breakfast Club meeting held on Sunday the 10th. The popularity of this event is now challenging the capacity of the Target/Woolworths car park to facilitate all the display and shopper’s cars. In excess of 70 cars turned up for this Breakfast Club meeting with an eclectic mix of marques from most of the major vehicle manufacturing countries.

Britain was represented with marques such as Jaguar, MG, Rover, Triumph, Morris, Austin and Morris and Mini’s. From Germany there was Mercedes, BMW, Porsche and Borgward, with Italy represented by the marques of Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Fiat and Lancia. Representing Sweden of course was Volvo, and from Japan Toyota, Mazda & Subaru. Australia was well represented by a number of marques from Ford & GM with a variety of Holdens, Toranas and Falcons. The big three manufacturers from the US were represented with marques of Mustang, Edsel, T-Model Ford, Corvette, & Dodge. (Apologies to those marques I may have missed).

The Breakfast Club is a very popular event, providing an avenue for people who are passionate about cars to take their ‘pride and joy’ out for a run to meet up and chat with likeminded enthusiasts.
