On what was an event-packed weekend, several club members made their way up into the Strzeleckis for the Mirboo North Italian Festa which celebrated the Italian heritage of the district?s early settlers and everything Italian. There was Italian food, Italian music, more food, Italian cars and motorbikes, food, dance, food, drink, bocce and even more food. John Althuizen and Steve Schmidt had their respective Ferrari and Fiat 124 Coupes on display along with a great selection of cars from the Fiat Car Club. The weather was perfect and I ?m sure the organisers were pleased by the massive turnout which transformed the usually tranquil Baromi Park into a hive of activity.
