The Sporting Register through our member David Anderson, was invited to provide a few classic and sporting vehicles for a SuperCheap evening promotion in Warragul. ?Nobody really knew what was happening, but there must have been about twenty of our members who turned up and filled their car park on this pleasant, balmy April evening. I?m not sure what sort of promotion SuperCheap were putting on, but we all enjoyed their BBQ sausages and the opportunity to have a chat and check out everybody?s vehicles.
I was told that Doug Armour?s ?new? pre-war Maserati/Fiat/Ford/Jaguar/Healey replica made a debut appearance earlier in the evening sporting its new Club plates, but your editor arrived too late to document this momentous occasion on film. Perhaps we?ll see it again at the Breakfast Club in a couple of week?s time.
