OUR FIRST MID-WEEK DRIVE. LUNCH at the ERICA HOTEL

Our first mid-week drive was on Thursday, 21st November, with Lunch at the Erica Pub.

Thirteen cars assembled at The Darnum Stump Tea Rooms, leaving there at 11:00am for just over an hour?s run to Erica.

After leaving Darnum we travelled north up Darnum Shady Creek Road, turning right into Old Sale Road, moving along at a leisurely speed, enjoying our great countryside and the road surface was quite good (the Shire had obviously done some repairs, must have known we were coming).

From Old Sale Road we turned left onto the Moe – Rawson Road (well some of us did) and headed towards Erica.

After another great countryside drive we all arrived at the Erica Pub. Drinks were ordered and then came a decision on what to order for lunch ……? the meals were amazing ……..? from Hot Rock Steaks to Larger Burgers , Fish & Chips, Lamb Wellington, & Pizzas – just to name a few.

Over Lunch great social chat and laughter was had by twenty-four people.

Thank you to all those who came and helped make our first mid-week run a success.

Thanks Jan, and John, for organising a great day out – even the weather was perfect.
