BREAKFAST CLUB, Warragul CBD ? Sunday 14th September

A perfect early Spring morning enticed more sports, classic and special vehicles to gather at our regular breakfast gathering than we?d seen assembled previously. It was difficult to tally the final vehicle count with cars and bikes coming and going as the morning progressed, but it was estimated that there were around 95 vehicles present during the morning. As usual, our local and regular cohort was strengthened by visitors traveling from Melbourne, central Gippsland and further afield.
We are always amazed at the variety and condition of the special vehicles that turn out for our meetings, but this month was exceptional with a pair of rare Bugatti Type 35/37s, a massive and magnificent Delage, a couple of Ferraris, dozens of beautifully restored classic sports cars, coupes and sedans, several street rods, motor bikes and a fine selection of modern sporting vehicles from makers including Porsche and Mercedes. A number of cars made their debut this month, but your correspondent was kept busy trying to capture the event in pictures, and only managed to make acquaintance with some of the newcomers.
