MID-WEEK RUN to Chandelier Caf?, Koo Wee Rup ? Wednesday 21st February

Once again John and Jan excelled with their organization for our Mid-week Car Club Run. The weather was perfect for all those driving with their tops down. The drive took us from Darnum for our morning coffee and catch up, where we received maps and instructions from John, then we set off on a scenic drive to Koo Wee Rup to meet at the Chandelier Caf?.

The route chosen was very picturesque with plenty of winding roads around the hills taking us through Ellinbank, Hallora, Poowong, Nyora, Lang Lang, Yannathon and Bayles then onto Koo Wee Rup. There were 34 members participating in the drive which was a new record.

The drive is in a convoy so that none of us slower drivers are left behind. A few members went straight to the caf? and met us all there with much smiles and laughter. The friendship component of the Club is wonderful, all the chatting and catching up really makes for a lovely day out.  Lunch was great and given it is the largest group the Chandelier has ever had, they closed to the public and worked hard to make sure we all had a nice lunch without too much delay. The food was fresh, well presented and the staff friendly and efficient. In summary a great drive and location for a lunch.

So, for any members who have a free day for the next Mid-week Run don?t hesitate to come along, talk to John and book in and join in the fun of a great drive and meal and get to know other club members.
