SEPTEMBER BREAKFAST CLUB, Warragul CBD – Sunday 11th Sept

Warragul blessed us with a lovely Spring day for the September Breakfast get together, a little cool early but mostly sunny.? About 80 cars and three bikes began filling the car park before eight o?clock.? Among the Mustangs, MGs, Mercs and Jags, a couple of the more unusual cars included a Morris Marina Coupe which brought back some teenage memories for me, some good, some not so. ?Another interesting vehicle was a Ford Courier Lowrider with the adjustable air suspension and custom made suicide doors. Some might look and ask why, but others dream things up and ask why not?

We were joined by a dozen Porsches, arriving a little later than most, but they had passed through such towns as Emerald, Gembrook, Yarra Junction, Powelltown, Noojee and Willow Grove on the way to Warragul.? They enthused about these roads that we know and love, as well as the scenery along the way.? Strangely, none of the growing number of Boxsters in our club was around to greet them this day, but there were many other cars to see and stories to tell.
