A group of Sporting Register members provided a display of about 15 Club vehicles across the road from the new Warragul Autobarn in support of Club member and store owner Jim McNiven. Jim also owns and operates the Leongatha Autobarn, so his son Chris, who lives in Warragul, will manage the new Warragul store which is located next to Repco in Queen St.
Even though the store had been operating for a few weeks, there was a huge crowd in and around the store for the official opening ? no doubt enticed by the 25% store wide discount being offered. As well as our range of classic and sporting vehicles, there were a couple of V8 Supercar mockups parked outside the shop. Quite a number of shoppers were interested in the cars we had on display and stopped for a chat about the vehicles and our Club.
